Conspiracy as Governance
The theoretical essay Assange wrote two years before WikiLeaks published anything of consequence, modelling an authoritarian state as a graph of conspirators and arguing that leaking works not by embarrassing a regime but by forcing it to constrict its own internal communication until it cannot think. Whatever one concludes about the man or the organisation, this is the reasoning the project was built on, in his own words, before the events that made it famous.

- In copyright, and not ours. The author published it free to read at the address above, which remains the version of record. It is held here as an archival exception — the same allowance the other in-copyright entries carry — because a text that exists on one server maintained by one person is one hosting decision away from being gone. No licence is claimed. If the rights holder asks, the text comes down and the citation stays.
