Rebellious Youth (Pobunjena mladost)
The second volume of the three-volume autobiography, drafted under this title and never published under it. The finding aid is explicit about what happened to it: the second volume was originally titled Rebellious Youth, later referred to as Land Without Justice II, and in 1973 was combined with the third volume into Memoir of a Revolutionary. So the text is not lost, but this version of it exists only as typescript in boxes 12 and 32, and whatever differs between the draft and the published combination can be read in one reading room.

- Rights
- In copyright — do not store. Djilas died in 1995, so nothing of his is free before 2066 under life plus seventy, and a work published in the United States before 1978 runs for 95 years from publication besides. Held as a catalogue record with a citation. WHO HOLDS THE RIGHTS IS AN OPEN QUESTION. The finding aid’s terms of access say only "For copyright status, please contact the Hoover Institution Library & Archives," and Hoover’s own policy makes the researcher "responsible for compliance with copyright law," including "identifying the copyright owner." No public record found names an estate, an executor or an agent for Djilas.
