Let Us Achieve the Great Unity of Our Nation
Delivered as a speech to North Korean reunification officials on August 1, 1991, this work outlines the DPRK's platform for achieving independent and peaceful national reunification through pan-national solidarity. Kim Il Sung argues that Korea's division was imposed by foreign imperial powers and asserts that Koreans across the North, South, and abroad—including workers, farmers, and intellectuals—must bridge ideological differences to form a unified, sovereign nation. The text serves as a key historical primary source reflecting official North Korean state ideology and reunification policy during the final years of Kim Il Sung's leadership.
